LAMARTINE, Wis. (WFRV) – On Thursday, a Fond du Lac County jury convicted a southeastern Wisconsin man on 13 charges, including stalking, which stem from multiple incidents that began in early 2021.
A release provided by Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric J. Toney, 36-year-old Zackery J. Olson was convicted by a jury on February 6 after a two-day trial.

According to a criminal complaint, Olson violated a restraining order in December 2020 when he allegedly repeatedly texted the victim. Olson also reportedly continued to try to communicate with the victim in February and March 2021. Similar incidents resurfaced in October 2022.
This defendant engaged in years of vulgar and disturbing stalking behavior. These convictions were made possible because of the incredible courage the victim demonstrated throughout this ordeal and her brave testimony at trial, something nobody should have to endure. We will always stand with victims of stalking to ensure their safety and security is protected by holding those accountable that threaten that safety.
