(WFRV) – The four-seed Oshkosh North boy’s basketball team had the final shot but ultimately fell short in the WIAA Division I state semifinal, losing to top-seed Wisconsin Lutheran 58-57.
Senior Xzavion Mitchell led the Spartans with 27 points hours after being named WBCA’s Mr. Basketball. Oshkosh North (19-10) trailed by 13 points in the second half, but fought back against the reigning Division II state champion Vikings.
