Kimberly High School’s athletic trainer returns after life-altering accident

(WFRV) – On the night before Thanksgiving in 2023, Kimberly High School’s athletic trainer Jordan Moehn left work and saw his life flash before his eyes.

Moehn was involved in a head-on crash in Calumet County on USH 151 north of Indian Road in the Town of Brothertown.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle heading north, driven by a 19-year-old man from Chilton, crossed over the center line and collided with Moehn’s southbound vehicle.

Moehn was in a medically induced coma for 18 days, with doctors uncertain if he would survive. Despite suffering numerous serious injuries, Moehn beat the odds and returned to the Kimberly sidelines as the school’s athletic trainer in just under a year.
