(WFRV) – A 34-year-old Green Bay woman was taken into custody on Monday after leading authorities on a dangerous pursuit on U.S. Highway 151.
According to a release, deputies with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office were made aware of a reckless driver traveling north on U.S. Highway 151, entering into Fond du Lac County.

Multiple eyewitnesses reported the vehicle was varying speeds and weaving all over the highway. It was also noted that it hit several construction cones in Dodge County.
One deputy located the vehicle traveling north on U.S. Highway 151, south of Thill Rd. in Oakfield. As the car approached the deputy, he observed it nearly hit another vehicle due to its erratic driving.
A traffic stop was attempted, but the vehicle did not yield to the deputy’s lights and sirens, resulting in a pursuit. The car continued to travel erratically, swerving all over the roadway and nearly hitting a squad car in the median.
The pursuit ended as the vehicle began slowing down. Deputies eventually boxed the vehicle in, bringing it to a safe stop. The driver and lone occupant was a 34-year-old woman from Green Bay. She was taken into custody without further incident.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found suspected fentanyl pills. The woman is currently being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail for felony eluding, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, possession with intent to deliver schedule I and II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating while intoxicated, her first offense.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says nobody was injured during the pursuit, and no property damage occurred despite the reckless driving. The pursuit is said to have lasted around five miles.
