GREEN LAKE, Wis. (WFRV) – A senior Girl Scout in Wisconsin is seeking quite an ambitious goal for her final season of selling cookies – to sell to every County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin.
Elliat Zodrow of Girl Scout Troop 6209 in Green Lake is no stranger to massive cookie sales. According to her ‘Cookie Goal’ website, dedicated to her Girl Scout sales, she sold to all 50 states in 2024.
Elliat said she wants to bring the same connection and joy from last year’s epic sales spree to this year, but locally to her home state and those who serve.
“I wanted to top it off with something better, and I came up with the idea of selling it to all of the counties in Wisconsin, and I thought, ‘what safer way to do it than to the Sheriff’s Department,'” Elliat said. “It’s a way to spread love and express gratitude for all that they do.”
Elliat also said she hopes to inspire other Girl Scouts to support their local communities and make positive impacts.
“I hope that by delivering cookies to sheriff’s departments in every Wisconsin county, we can show them our gratitude while also inspiring other Girl Scout entrepreneurs to think outside the box in their efforts,” Elliat said in the release.
Lieutenant Trevor Hartjes expressed how Elliat’s goal means a lot and it’s an inspiration.
“It’s inspirational and she’s making an impact on our communities, which we strive to do every day,” Lt. Hartjes said. “It’s heartwarming and we certainly appreciate Elliat stopping in today.”
Outagamie County Deputy Erin Scharbarth said she liked how people are also reaching out to sponsor her to help her achieve her goals.
“I like that other people in the community are reaching out to sponsor cookies being delivered to the Sheriff’s Offices,” Deputy Scharbarth said. “It means that we still have backing at a police department. We can’t do our jobs without community support, which means a lot to us.”

Sponsors can ship cookies directly to Sheriff’s Offices or select an option for Elliat to personally deliver them. Elliat, a travel enthusiast, says she’ll highlight her favorite spots throughout the state when she hand-delivers cookies, which can be seen on her ‘@WisGoGirl’ Instagram page.
