December’s cold start continues

From Storm Team 5…

A weak disturbance will bring in a few flurries for Monday evening. No accumulation is expected but a few flakes will be in the air.

Monday night will be mostly to partly cloudy and cold with lows ending up near 20 degrees.

Tuesday will be another quiet and mostly cloudy day. Highs will work back to around 30 degrees. The next clipper system will pass by to our north and bring snow showers to northern WI Tuesday evening.

This round of light snow will miss Green Bay and the Fox River Valley but again a few flurries are expected. We’ll see a better shot at a round of passing snow showers as a cold front sweeps through Wednesday midday.

This cold front means business and will bring strong NW winds that will gust over 40 mph and also bring the season’s coldest air of the year with low falling to near 10 degrees by Thursday am! Wind chills will drop below zero!
