GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft has come to an end, with fans celebrating the sport in historic Green Bay, and according to two NFL reporters, the league’s smallest city almost doubled its population on Day 1.
According to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the official attendance for Round 1 was 205,000.

According to the United States Census Bureau in 2023, the City of Green Bay has a population of 105,744, by far the smallest market in the NFL, with the closest being Buffalo at 274,678.
That 205,000 comes despite trouble with capacity, as around 6:30 p.m., general admission was closed down due to the venue reaching maximum capacity.

Day 2 of the NFL Draft kicks off at 6 p.m. on Friday, with the venue and campus at Titletown opening up around noon. The Packers still have seven picks to make after taking Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden at No. 23.
