‘Can’t find at any other’: Vandervest Harley Davidson preparing for NFL Draft inside and out

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Vandervest Harley Davidson is gearing up for plenty of football fans to stop by during the 2025 NFL Draft. And with hundreds of bikes on the showroom floor, no two are alike.

“We have a huge selection of pre-owned Harleys that are each unique, you can’t find it at any other dealership, and then we have some custom painted and custom pinstriped bikes that are one of a kind,” co-owner Dixie Kinnard said.

So for the week of the draft, the dealership is expecting an uptick in customers and more bikes that will need to hit the road on a truck.

“We’re offering free shipping for people from out of town who might find a bike while they’re in town and want to get it shipped home,” Kinnard said. “We’re only a couple exits away from Lambeau Field, so we’re planning for when all the Harley Davidson enthusiasts come into town.”

Outside in the parking lot, staff are planning for a massive tailgate with room for parking and camping. On the inside, there’s space for private events, the Olde 41 and the Duck Blind, though one or both could be snatched up anytime.

“We’re kind of hearing from other businesses that we may have last-minute bookings, so we’re kind of just waiting to see what happens until we get closer to the draft,” Kinnard said.

No matter the outcome, all hands on deck are needed, both indoors for the two-wheelers, and outdoors for the grills.

“We’re planning for it to be very busy, we’re bringing in extra staff and we’re planning a cookout as well for those that want to try some extra food,” Kinnard said, as plans are in the works to have sausages, cheese curds and more.

In the aisles of merchandise, a special line was designed specifically for the draft.

“We have all kinds of draft-themed items, I’m wearing one of the sweatshirts that we made,” Kinnard said. “And then we have t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and then we have collectibles, everything from poker chips to mugs.”
