Another hot and muggy day!

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

Another hot and sticky day ahead for us! Here’s some good news: temperatures and dew points will drop a bit tomorrow for some relief from the heat and humidity as the work week wears on. Our next rain chance comes in late tonight into Wednesday.

Today, mostly sunny and very humid again. Hot temperatures around 91 degrees expected later on which will feel like the mid and upper 90s when you consider the heat index. There will be a stiff south/southwest breeze up to 25 or 30 mph in the afternoon which will act like a fan to cool you down. 76 degrees is the high near the lake – but be careful if you go to Lake Michigan to seek relief from the heat! Wave heights are going to be 3 to 6 feet during the day which will add a swim risk.

Tonight, partly cloudy and humid again. The low is 75 degrees! A cold front will be approaching our area after midnight, but the rain or thunderstorms ahead of the front will diminish in strength before it gets to us. We will keep some stray rain showers with weak thunderstorms in the forecast for a few communities.

Tomorrow, this cold front will linger over our area. We are not expecting severe weather, but some spotty or stray thundershowers could be around during the day. Otherwise, a bit cooler at 83 degrees and DROPPING HUMIDITY by the evening and overnight hours.
