Clipper snow chance this evening and tonight

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

Quiet and mainly cloudy conditions will be the rule during the day Tuesday, but a clipper system dropping in from Canada could bring flurries or snow showers this evening and tonight. This will mainly impact our far northern counties and parts of Door County where there is a chance an inch or two of fluffy accumulation. Elsewhere, especially near the Fox Cities, little or no accumulation will occur.

Mostly cloudy with a high of 30 degrees Tuesday. A few flurries could work into parts of the area later in the day.

Tonight, plan on a chance for evening and overnight snow showers or flurries. Snow will mainly accumulate north of the Fox Valley. Breezy conditions will kick in with this clipper moving by. Temperatures will not fall much from the afternoon with a low of 25 degrees.

Windy weather on Wednesday with a high of 34 degrees. Lots of clouds will be in place with scattered light snow showers or flurries. Light accumulations of less than an inch are possible where it does snow.

It will be a frigid start to Thursday, feeling like the middle of winter! Plan on below zero wind chills out the door, then temperatures will improve to around 29 degrees in the afternoon.

Cold again Friday with a high of 26 degrees. Partly cloudy skies.

Breezy, but warmer on Saturday! The high goes up to 37 degrees. Warmer air returning will also bring added cloud cover to Wisconsin.

Mostly cloudy and mild on Sunday. The high goes up to 42 degrees. Our next weather maker will be Sunday night into Monday where there is a chance for rain and snow showers. The highest chance for snow is where it will be cooler up north, while most will see rain with the mild air in place.
