UPDATE: Baldwin was declared the winner by the Associated Press at 12:42 p.m. on Wednesday.
(WFRV) – Incumbent Tammy Baldwin announced that she has won her U.S. Senate Race against challenger Eric Hovde.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, Baldwin said that her campaign has won and that Wisconsinites chose someone who puts them first.
The voters have spoken and our campaign has won.
Wisconsinites chose someone who always puts them first, shows up, listens, and works with everyone to get the job done. I’m proud to head back to the Senate to keep fighting for our workers, farmers, and families that make our state great.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

As of 5:10 a.m., Baldwin has nearly a percentage-point lead over Hovde. The Associated Press has not called the race.
Hovde was leading most of Tuesday, and into early Wednesday morning and says his team will continue to monitor the returns and make sure that every vote is counted.
We’re watching the final precinct results come in. We’re certainly disappointed that the Democrats’ effort to siphon votes with a fraudulent candidate had a significant impact on the race, with those votes making up more than the entire margin of the race right now. We will continue to monitor returns and make sure that every vote is counted.
