Fox Cities Performing Arts Center presents student artwork displaying Edgar Allan Poe’s Tales of Terror

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Students from Appleton North High School had their artwork on display at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on Wednesday.

With Halloween on the horizon, students’ artwork was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s ‘Tales of Terror’, turning the dark series into paintings and more.

“We were able to read these stories and choose which one we felt connected to the most,” Appleton North junior Will Arana said.

Arana said he chose the ‘Tell-Tale Heart’ and took a creative approach to it.

The participating students got to meet with New York Actor Joshua Kane to learn about Poe’s history. The students then attended Kane’s performance of Poe’s Tales of Terror.
